With a passion for assisting individuals and entities in navigating complex accounting, tax and management situations, Charles brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role. His specializations encompass tax, accounting and audit services — with a strong focus on individual and business taxation.
When he’s not at work, you can find Charles enjoying his many interests and hobbies. He appreciates music, history and sports. Charles also spends his free time reading, playing guitar, traveling and even cycling competitively. Giving back to the community is important to Charles, and he serves on the City of Mountain Brook’s Finance Committee.
Although he is originally from Fort Valley, Georgia, Charles now works out of Borland Benefield’s Birmingham office. He and his wife, Tiffany, are the parents of two daughters, Mary Slayden and Claudia. Their 9-year-old Boykin Spaniel named Ellis is also a valued member of the family.
