John M. Wilson, CPA, brings over 30 years of expertise to his role as President and Managing Director at Borland Benefield. Specializing in corporate and individual tax, John is known for his dedication to helping clients easily navigate complex financial issues. He’s passionate about providing valuable insights to help his clients ensure compliance in an ever-changing tax landscape.
John embraces his artistic side when he’s not at work by enjoying music and playing guitar. He also loves any activities around the water, especially offshore sailing. As a kid, John enjoyed racing sailboats, which led to a lifelong love for boats.
Committed to making a difference in his community, John serves on various boards, including the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau of Alabama. He believes in actively contributing to the growth and success of his community.
Originally from Signal Mountain, Tennessee, John now works out of Borland Benefield’s Birmingham location. He and his wife, Marianne, have two sons, Jack and Sam. The family also has two beloved dogs, Thelma and Louise.
